Rhoades Announces $404,000 State Grant for Tunnel Road Project

HARRISBURG – Working to bring much-needed traffic improvements to Tunnel Road in East Norwegian Township, Senator James J. Rhoades (R-29) today secured a $404,000 grant to address the growing safety concerns of the intersection.

Funding was awarded though the Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED).

The improvements would include reconstructing the intersection, reconfiguring the existing traffic signal, driveway changes and improved access.
